Jaime Hall is a commercial litigator who has conducted scores of hearings and trials at all levels of the BC Courts, the Federal court and administrative tribunals over the past 35 years. His experience covers a broad range of commercial disputes, with a significant emphasis on real property and construction claims. He has extensive experience in complex work outs of distressed construction and real property projects .
As the operator of a fishing business in his younger years, Jaime applies a practical approach to his practice.
Jaime also advises property developers and contractors to manage construction projects to resolve disputes at an early stage, often utilizing his training in mediation.
Jaime has always been active in the community and frequently speaks on legal issues to industry groups. He currently chairs a non-profit provider of affordable housing and services to persons at risk of homelessness. He also sits on the City of Victoria Board of Variance.
